Mary Valley Art Festival 2017


The Mary Valley Art Festival began in 2000 in Imbil, the largest community the Mary Valley. It is an annual event held from 29 June till 2nd July 2017. Thursday Opening night is a fantastic celebration bringing together artists, judges, sponsors and the community over wine, fine food and entertainment. 

The festival is known for its friendly and professional approach, attracting quality art work showcasing the diversity of artists from our region and South East Queensland. The festival runs over the weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is an easy day trip for visitors from the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Hervey Bay. Workshops and demonstrations are held over the same weekend so be sure to check the program to extend your stay. 

The popular People’s Choice Awards are held on the Sunday along with the Bush Haven Youth Art Award presentations with licenced bar and refreshments.

Downunder Beachfest 2017

It’s that time again. Five days of the coolest Retro Car Festival on the planet, celebrating the Hot Rod and Classic Car Lifestyle. The festival that delivers it all. With entry open to Hot Rods, pre-1983 cars, motorcycles and vintage caravans, you’ll be dazzled by the eye-candy, amazed by the craftsmanship, inspired to create.
Dance to the rockin’ sounds of ‘the Dirty Dukes’, ‘Old 45’s’, Billy Guy and others. Five days of cruising the Sunshine Coast and the nearby Hinterland, show ‘n shines, driving events, dining, dancing, street parties, trophy’s, a Mega Car Show in the downtown Caloundra and Esplanade of Queensland’s beautiful City of Caloundra, and finishing with the infamous Sunday Evening Dinner Dance at The Shed, Aussie World.
If you love cars, if you love retro, or if you just love hangin’ with the Kool Kats, this is the “not to be missed” event of the year.
